Vichyssoise Soup - French Leek and Potato Soup
One of the most delicious soups ever.
Puree to velvet smooth, or sieve if you need to.
Served with a splash of cream to bring out the rich flavour, and you have one of the best starters to any meal
I served this as soup shots for a special occasion recently and every single person commented on their enjoyment.

Make the most of the end of the berry season with this wonderful French desser t- you can have it ready for the oven in advance, serve with cream or ice cream, and it looks beautiful.

Twice Baked Cheese Souffle with a Parmesan Cream Sauce
Straight from a chef who worked at the Blaxlands Restaurant Hunter Valley years ago - I finally found the recipe again and cooked it.
It is so wonderful it will be one of the courses for a special birthday dinner coming up.

I am loving Indian food at the moment and how fragrant and soothing the aromas are in the house - my mum just cooked this saying it worked really well, and is an authentic recipe from an old work colleague who loved his food.
