Yes it is true there is a porridge making competition and this is the winner!
I have tried this recipe and I adore it and is how I make porridge from now on - in perfect time for winter.

Part of an Indian banquet meal from last night, this was inspired by a dish I adored at the old Oh! Calcutta restaurant in Darlinghurst.
I love the use of Puy Lentils rather than your usual split peas etc.
