Dukkah

Can be expensive to buy but so easy to make! (Good Christmas present too!)

A great way to add flavour to many meals.

A quick starter for dipping fresh bread with a favourite olive oil, or sprinkled over a green salad to add some simple punch.

I like to add it to roast vegetables too.

A quick side dish with loads of flavour.

Turmeric is also known to have loads of health benefits, so is good to have a few dishes that include it on a regular basis - helps fight certain cancers (combined with cauliflower has shown to prevent prostate cancer), is anti-inflammatory (good for arthritis), helps combat Alzheimer's by removing amyloyd plaque build-up in the brain, is a liver detoxifier..

For another quick way to include turmeric, add a tsp to rice when cooking.

This is my favourite cake for special occasions and I had to remind you all again how wonderful it is.

The Guinness adds a depth of flavour and slight malty hints, plus a silky, rich texture.

The cream cheese icing to top it off like the froth of a beer is perfect!

This is wonderful one-pot cooking, full of flavour and quick to prepare - just make sure to leave enough time for the 2 hours baking for the lamb to soften up.

I made this last night while in holiday mode.
