Homemade Ice Magic! 

(Chocolate sauce that turns crack hard once poured over ice cream)

In a double boiler, melt 250g dark chocolate with 2 tbsp coconut oil and a pinch of salt, stirring til smooth and glossy.

Allow to cool slightly then pour over ice cream, wait 30 seconds for it to harden then tuck in!

You can add some extra flavours for a special adult dessert - ground ginger, chilli, garam masala, or lavender..max 1 tsp of flavouring should add the right amount of punch - watch the chilli though!

I  whipped these up yesterday with the kids, they are perfect for kitchen fun as you are simply making a dough and cutting out, ready for baking.

They loved them hot from the oven with some butter.

Chorizo and Peppers with Chickpeas

A summer tapas, yet hearty enough as a meal on its own.

I cook this often as the 45 min braising is perfect to get the dish on the go early and prep the table, relax with guests, or wrap up kiddies for bed time etc.
