Stunning colour and the trout is so delicate and sweet.
Was the dish of the day at a restaurant recently. Such a small effort to marinade the trout overnight (handy for prep in advance of a dinner party) you end up with a special main ingredient for any meal - whether a simple salad or pasta.

Due to popular demand and how AMAZING this cake is, I am making it again this week for the tradesmen (and my family!).
My friend Patsy has even tripled the recipe to make one large cake and feed 60, and it worked!
The Guinness adds a malt, rich flavour so I promise it is not as strange as it first sounds, it gives the cake a depth and brings out the chocolate even more.
