This is so delicious.
I cooked this last night to serve with a simple grilled fish coated in a spice mix.
I adore the star anise, and the spiced butter.
I was short on pumpkin so easily added some sweet potato and carrot, plus a little cauliflower.
Nourishing and soothing food.

I love it hot from the oven with cream or ice cream as a dessert, otherwise it makes a wonderful tea cake once cold.
