A favourite dinner party meal that I just cooked for my Singapore visitor to give her some French inspired food as a change to the Asian food she eats regularly - and it was a huge hit!
So I had to share it this week as they were all asking for the recipe.
Served with a pea and watercress puree, and some dill butter to keep the fish moist as it cooks in the filo - you can have the little parcels ready in advance to bake for 12 minutes just before serving
Sorry no pic yet as we keep eating it all up before I get the chance!
Homemade Chicken & Brandy Pâté
This has been requested for the Christmas Day table as it is Deeelicious!
Cheap and Easy too!
So splash out for only a few dollars more and buy organic chicken livers, they are 100 times better.
A classy French dessert, made often with cherries - they all work!
It is berry and cherry season, and this one can be prepped in advance, the berries sitting in the dishes, the batter made ready to pour over and bake last minute.
Yum!
Spinach with Tomatoes and Indian Spices
I needed a simple green to serve with a delicious Lamb Curry and remembered this wonderful dish - easy to make and perfect with lamb.
