We all need a few easy entertaining platters in this party time and this fits so well.
Is an alternative to the expensive burrata cheese - buffalo mozzarella with cream inside - that I adore.

A favourite for kids, and adults love them too - smoked trout can keep in the fridge for weeks so is a great way to not only use up excess mashed potato but serve a fresh seafood meal on the spot!

Soba Noodles with Kale and Sesame
Thank you to brother Gareth for this one, it was a huge hit at our mum's last birthday as part of a Japanese feast.
The kale is crsiped in the oven to add the best contrasting texture to the silky noodles.
A wonderful vegetarian meal or side dish.
