Recipe of the week - Cauliflower with cherry tomatoes and fennel seeds

By Jill Dupleix in the SMH paper, this was her great gift idea, and one that I have given as part of a house warming hamper.
They are so tasty!
I love them on noodles, or even scrambled eggs, or bread... anything!

Back with another Ottolenghi favourite that I probably cook the most, and is also vegan - I originally saw this dish recommended by Marieke Hardy from the Tuesday book club who had become vegan and had HEAPS of great tips for those interested.
The green chilli sauce with preserved lemons is worth making in itself.
Cauliflower cake by Ottolenghi
A fantastic vegetarian main. Delicious warm or room temp so perfect for a picnic and can make in advance as it reheats beautifully.
A hint of turmeric, plus the nigella and sesame seeds coating the outside, adds a unique flavour combination.
Apparently he came up with this recipe from the British love of cauliflower cheese - a great idea!
This is THE pickle in the famous Wagyu burger at Rockpool Bar and Grill.
It is possibly the best pickle I have tasted and would be an awesome present this Christmas.
