Sherry and Bay Poached Tamarillos with Vanilla Custards

This is a timely early autumn recipe as you should start to see tamarillos popping up at the green grocers.

I love this dish, inspired by mum who surprised me with the announcement she loves this fruit and arrived on my doorstep with a couple in hand to cook.
