Simple addition to a steak meal that gives so much flavour and to warn it has some heat too. My brother-in-law Tim adores this and have begun making it as a regular birthday present. This is a recipe by Matthew Evans that I found in a newspaper article years ago that grabbed my eye.

1 tbsp sweet paprika
1 tbsp garlic powder or granules
1 tsp black or white pepper, ground
½ tsp dried thyme
½ tsp cayenne pepper
¼ tsp oregano powder
1 ½ tsp sea salt
Mix and store. Rub all over a steak right before frying.
