Recipe of the Week - Chocolate Roll

A Christmas dessert idea that looks beautiful and is soooo delicious! I used to make this in my teens, it is that easy, and still my favourite dessert roll.

From the I Quit Sugar Books - this is a great high protein brekky for those who want something special in the mornings - you can leave the chocolate out and it will be a coconut blend instead.
Makes a great big batch roasted in the oven.
Baked Pork Meatballs with Hoisin and Ginger
It is picnic season and this is a great recipe for one with an Asian twist.
They are so simple to make being baked on one large tray, and go perfectly with a light Vietnamese style rice noodle salad or coleslaw, with all the fresh herbs and vegetables, must add crunchy nuts on top.
*tip -sprinkle half with chill flakes for adults.
Cavolo Nero Pancakes ( aka Tuscan or Black Kale)
Probably my favourite dark, leafy green, cavolo nero has a beautiful flavour and texture yet still keeps a little bit of spring once cooked - suits these pancakes perfectly!
I always use a bunch in my spinach and feta spanakopita pie too.
My new favourite side dish for spicy seafood - fish tacos, baked fish with red curry sauce - goes well with pork or chicken too.
A simple way to add something special.
