Gildas - spicy green and salty pintxos
These are Spanish tapas on toothpicks. The name Gilda comes from the 1946 film, starring Rita Hayworth as the passionate lead lady.
The easiest flavour bomb starter ever. Perfect for any size party.

20 large green olives, pitted (or 40 small)
20 of the best qualtiy canned anchovy fillets you can find - e.g. ortiz
20 small or slices of pickled green chillies - Calabrian guindilla or peperoncino chillies/peppers
Plain salted potato crisps to serve
Strain the oil from the anchovies, prepare the chillies into slices if they are large.
In no particular order, carefully skewer onto a toothpick an anchovy, oilive and chilli, double up your favourite ingredient if you like. Repeat until you have as many gildas as you like. Serve with the crisps.
