Easy Chocolate Slice

So easy – a great coconut flavour and reminds you of Anzac biscuits with a chocolate topping. Make sure to let cool in the tin to firm up or the slice will crumble apart.

155g margarine or butter, melted
1 cup corn flakes, crushed
1 cup desiccated coconut
½ cup brown sugar
1 tsp cocoa powder
1 cup self raising flour

Icing
1 tsp cocoa
1 cup icing sugar
A little water to mix


Crush corn flakes, mix dry ingredients, melt margarine/butter and add to dry ingredients.

Press into greased lamington tin, bake 20 minutes 180°C.

Cool in pan and ice (see method below). Cut into squares.

Icing – mix all ingredients til makes a smooth but thick icing.
